Special Harvest Season Supper Club

Date: Sunday 26th October
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm. ( First course at 7pm )

Location:
Apricot Centre - Wellbeing Service and Huxhams Cross Biodynamic Farm. Rattery Road Dartington TQ9 6AA

About the event:

In celebration of the wonderful produce grown at the Apricot Centre, Hannah (Gather & Nourish) and Hannah (Baker & Schumacher alumni) will be cooking up a 3 course meal to delight your senses. The food will be plant-based and nutritious, following the principle of ‘Eat the Rainbow’.

With awareness of the time, effort and love gone into growing the produce, the Hannah’s will also be incorporating the often discarded or wasted parts of fruit and veg into preserves and ferments that will find their way to the plates. So come for an evening of food exploration and communal eating.

We hope to see you there!

Forage & Wild Fermentation

Special prices in support of Bowden Pillars Future

Date: Saturday 28th June
Time: 11am - 2:00pm

Location: Bowden Pillars Farm, Green Lane Totnes TQ9 7PW

Relish the abundance of wild edibles that fill the hedgerows of Bowden Pillars and discover the magic of food transformation through fermentation.

Foraging, Fermenting & Connecting

Come join us at Bowden Pillars Future to connect with the land and each othe. Forager and Bowden Pillars Future co-ordinator Hannah will teach you the art and benefits of foraging for wild edibles, and will then give you a workshop in wild fermentation. You'll have the change to make your own wild ferment using plants foraged from the land, so you can discover the magic of food transformation through fermentation yourself. Through out you will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals interested in Bowden Pillars Future and all that it aspires towards. This hands-on event will leave you feeling inspired and empowered to incorporate these ancient practices into your modern lifestyle, and hopefully to be doing this in community.

After you've made your wild ferments there will be an optional 'bring and share' lunch where you'll get more of a change to get to know each other and ask questions about the various aspects of Bowden Pillars Future. Hannah will provide some wild ferments she's made in advance for you to try as her offering. We hope to see you there!
